Parents play an active role in our students' education
Parental Involvement
Parent Board: Representatives from each grade are selected to be members of the school Parent Board. The board meets once a month and its members support the school administration, and are actively involved in fundraising activities within the school community.
Service Hours Requirements: All parents are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of service per year. Examples of this service include working at the annual International Festival, planting flowers, assisting with the lunch program, and coordinating the annual Book Fair.
Field Trip Chaperones: Parents serve as chaperones for their children’s field trips. All chaperones must be VIRTUS trained and fingerprinted.
