MISSION STATEMENT
Christ the King School’s mission is to instill Catholic principles and values in students through the Gospel message of Jesus. We believe in the uniqueness of each child and are dedicated to developing each individual’s gifts and personal relationship with God. We seek to educate the whole child by fostering the spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, and physical growth of each student.
COVID-19 UPDATE
Christ the King School, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation. In an effort to slow the spread of the disease, CKS has transitioned to a Distance Learning model of education. CKS students are engaging in learning remotely, and teachers are delivering a high-quality education while students are at home, mainly through Zoom and Google Classroom.
Due the pandemic CKS has not formed a TK class. Some of our TK students, however, have joined the Kindergarten class until we can resume our TK program.
The school administration is available each day from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm to answer your questions.

Discover our amazing Transitional Montessori class!
Christ the King opened the first Transitional Montessori Class in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 2013. This method of educating young children is designed to build independence and self esteem and give children a love for learning. We use a hands-on approach and children use their senses and learn by doing. Everything in the classroom is child-centered and students are encouraged to explore their environment. Dr. Maria Montessori believed in the absorbent mind, and children are provided with opportunities to learn in all subject areas.
