Mrs. Julie Lim 5th Grade Teacher |
Julie Lim began her teaching career at Christ the King School in 2004 as the third-grade teacher and transitioned to the fifth grade in 2017. During her earlier years, she taught multiple subjects in 2nd-4th grade while teaching her third-grade class.
Julie graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves teaching mathematics for its real and tangible aspects, and is particularly happy when students reach the eureka moment of understanding a math theory! Julie believes that a classroom is a community where all participants, from the teacher to the students work together to create an encouraging and enriching space for learning. Outside of school, Julie enjoys exploring her neighboring with her three children (all of whom attend CKS), honing her photography skills, and taking care of her plants. She also takes delight in searching for good eats and her family’s next vacation destination. |
